Applied Mechanical Technology  – has a complete control panel shop on site with a controls engineer on staff. We design, build and fully test ALL of our control panels right in our own shop including PLC and HMI operator screen programming and network configurations for HART, ProfiBus, FactoryTalk, RS232,  and all major communications protocols. 

All control panels are designed to fully comply to applicable UL508a and NEC standards with ETL and UL certification available upon request. Most control panels we build are NEMA 4 rated meaning they can take washed down from a hose and not be harmed.  We also build control panels in NEMA 4X rating that are corrosion resistant (stainless steel or polycarbonate) and NEMA 7 Explosion Proof.

Our abilities and experience include not just control panels but also the programming for PLC and HMI Operator Screens but also related technical requirements.  We can perform PID loop development and tuning for various process controls, temperature, pH, flow and level control.  We configure VFD Variable Frequency Drives for motor speed control.  We provide programming for database and spreadsheet logging for performance trending analysis.  We can also design and provide signage, placards, legends and name plates with our state of the art engraving machine.
